JUDr. Ondrej Mularčík

JUDr. Ondrej Mularčík, attorney, born in 1956 in Bratislava, He graduated from Comenius University, the Faculty of Law in Bratislava. He was an articled clerk in the law office of JUDr. Elena Praženková. His started his career as an attorney in 1992.

Since the beginning of his legal career, he has provided consultancy on criminal law, civil law, business law, administrative law, family law and, at present, he is one of the most wanted and reputable attorneys in criminal proceedings. In the past and at present he has been providing consultancy on business law to business companies with the international participation.

JUDr. Ondrej Mularčík is the co-author of Commentary to the Criminal Code from the editor C.H.BECK (2010), the co-author of Commentary to the Law on advocacy from the editor C.H.BECK (2013) and the co-author of Commentary Decree about remuneration and compensation to attorneys like a provision of legal services (attorney tariff) from the editor C.H.BECK (2015). Besides that he has published a lot of professional articles on law in the Bulletin magazine of the Slovak Bar Association.

Since the beginning of his career as an attorney, he has taken an active part in the state organization of the Slovak Bar Association. JUDr. Ondrej Mularčík is a long-standing member of the editorial board in the Bulletin magazine of the Slovak Bar Association. He has held a lot of important positions in the Slovak Bar Association. In 2007 he was elected the President of the Slovak Bar Association, he served two terms as a member of the Slovak Bar Association.

Nowadays he is a member of a working group on criminal law in the Slovak Bar Association and he is the President of the Educational College in the Slovak Bar Association, he is still active in the editorial board. He transfers his unique knowledges of law connected with his profession of an attorney to articled clerks during professional seminars organized by the Slovak Bar Association and, at the same time, he is a member of an examination committee on advocacy exams. Occasionally he gives lectures on criminal law and on advocacy at Comenius University, at the Faculty of Law in Bratislava and also at Pan-European University, at the Faculty of Law in Bratislava. He was a member in many professional commissions on legal proceedings of the Slovak republic and he attended many professional seminars on the law in the Slovak republic and abroad. He appears in the electronic and printed media very often, where he replies to professional questions on criminal law and on the advocacy profession.

His specialization is mostly in criminal law and civil law. In the area of criminal law he has represented clients in intensely watched criminal cases, i.e. proceedings with a lot of media coverage.

In 2016, JUDr. Ondrej Mularčík was awarded a prize by the Slovak Bar Association for his lifetime achievements to advocacy.
